          its a nice thought  .  however  ,  getting hurt seems to be something he can’t avoid  ,  which he won’t outright say to her since that would only worry her more  .  instead ,  malcolm gives his mother a genuine smile as he hobbles  , slowly but surely , to gather his own medications with the good hand that he has   .  “ i’ll be fine  ,  “  those eyes of his still tell the tale of a haunted man forced to confront far too much  ,  mixed with the wounds he’s still healing from  ??  malcolm bright seems only but a shell of his already fragile self  .
