Love never changes. It changes the people it touches. It puts a smile on their face when the wind kisses their cheek because they imagine it coming from their partner. It puts a tear in their eye when the last piece of cheese is gone because it makes them think of life without that person. The things that once had no meaning seem to shout out at a person in love. Love is when wanting someone physically means wanting them simply to be next to you. No matter where you go or who you ask... Love will always be the same. It'll make you do crazy things, be someone you weren't before, awaken the spirit inside that you didn't know existed. It'll make you give all of yourself without expecting to get any of it back, and show you a slice of heaven, if you let it. It won't wait for you or ask you before it comes; love will just strike like lightning or pass like a shooting star. So you take it for what it is when you see it because you don't know when it'll come again. Love may confuse and abuse you mentally but it'll teach you to reach that switch inside you that says 'you can do this', because love isn't afraid. Love is like a touring circus...chaotic, entertaining, fun, emotional, adventurous, a unique family, freeing, and teaches you to live life with no limits...it makes you want to follow to the next stop to see where it takes you. Love is a chemical reaction; a proton and electron, opposites attracting, attaching themselves to one another, and never letting go. Love is many things but it is especially patient and forgiving because it is never perfect. It makes you powerful. Because having love is a privilege and a gift that not everyone receives. Love is the biggest secret that everyone knows you have- a connection and a promise made between two people that even the universe can see. Love takes form. It is beautiful. It is desired, but cannot be conquered. It is earned. And I have earned it because you have sprung and formed an everlasting twinkle of happiness in my heart which has grown and taught me that love isn't what I want, it's what I need...I need you.
