So here's the thing about love,

And I mean true, deep, passionate love,

Love don't come easy.

And love is hard.

It's kind of like a job,

You have to put in serious work for it,

And you have to constantly work hard on it.

So find someone worth the heartache,

Because trust me, there will be heartache,

And there will be heartbreak,

There will be moments where you just want to give up and say fuck you and this relationship,

But don't, because love don't come easy.

There will be some hard times.

Love won't always be hearts and rainbows.

There will be some dark days.

There will be some storms.

But, the sun will rise again.

Find someone you're willing to fight for,

Because love is a battlefield.

Find someone you can completely be open and honest with,

Because no matter how independent you are, you're going to need someone to talk to and lean on when those hard times hit.

There will be fights and arguments.

There will be silence after those fights and arguments.

There will be hurt and wounds that may seem like they'll never heal.

But, you will talk it out, and the silence will go back to conversations and laughter.

The hurt will go away and the wounds will heal.

Love isn't magic.

It's going to require a lot of effort, time, patience, care, nurturing, and so much more.

Love don't come easy.

And love isn't perfect, but at the end of the day, love is truly one of the most beautiful things in the world.
