I love until the last bite of sanity leaves my lips and shadows, like broken hearts in broken jars, no longer scare me.

In my daydreams I'm on the side and, I watch another girl with eyes like mine take my lines and hold my man and I wish I could be just like her. She says she's in love when she's in love and, is a willing witness to the majesty of falling. Maybe you fell for that girl who, sometimes shows her face out of the darkness in my pupils. My body is a clay pot ready for her bloom. She is a bright yellow, budding then bursting like fireworks on winter nights

I smiled at myself; so much that my mouth ached more than my womb.

Don’t you want to share yourself, to become so interwoven with The Mother that your breath is the dew that forms on blades of grass? I think we all desire to sprout, bear fruit and be replanted on this Earth.

I want candles, flowers and champagne. Skin, cologne and promises. Breathlessness, white noise and heat. A room so thick with evening air our hearts float above our heads.

What do our spirits look like? Maybe they mirror an eternal Eden of evergreen madness where life is in overflow.
