The weirdest part about being on a date was the fact that it was going well. Really well, actually. And he shouldn’t be that surprised, he and Ellie get along really well anyways, but there was pressure that came with romance. He’d never been good at it, he assumed, and just steered clear. It’s a nice thing to be proven wrong.
“Oh, uhm. Of course.” His smile is soft, but only because of how flustered he’s feeling. If he were more brave, it’d light up the room. “I mean, it’s been really nice to just get to know you. And… I just, like being around you. So we can definitely like, do this again. Or something else, even?”
