i get so nervous emailing my new guitar teacher. he's asking me what my goals are??? like wtf how am i supposed to know you're supposed to be teaching me mf???

Brave isn’t the right word - prepared enough to know what to do is a better word. “It wasn’t brave, Beck. It was instinct. I’m sorry you had to witness that, Forty is....a mess right now.”

“No, I’m serious. I found him handcuffed to a radiator one time.” There’s a point to this. It’s not some sort of story to tell out of a sister wanting to embarrass her brother by telling stories to the girl he likes - no, it is MUCH MORE than that. “Look, all I’m saying is, take care of him, alright? Because he needs to be looked after and I can’t always be there for him.”
