the  rogues  don’t  like  the  joker   &   he  doesn’t  care.   and  although  their  perception  of  the  joker  doesn’t  bother  him,  it  only  becomes  a  problem  should  he  be  excluded  from  any rogue  activities.  when  excluded,  he  tends  to  lash  out  in  a  pursuit  of  revenge,  or  to  teach  his  victims   not  to  screw  him  over  and  to  respect  his  madness.   see   :     *   he  blows  up  a  city   because  Brainiac  didn’t  recruit  him,  or   *   he  shoots  alexander  luthor   because  he  wasn’t  asked  to  join  the  villain’s  society.      （   ＊   𝙲𝙻𝙸𝙽𝙺  𝙻𝙸𝙽𝙺𝚂  𝙵𝙾𝚁  𝙿𝙰𝙽𝙴𝙻𝚂  !  ）

HARVEY  DENT  is  the  joker’s  favorite.  he’s  fascinating,  fun  to  mess  with,  and  he’s  joker’s    pseudo-batman,   when  batman’s  too  busy  to  play.  he  believes  the  two  to  be  somewhat  similar   :   the  unchecked  rage  hidden  behind  a  mask    -  -    the  cowl   &   dual  personality   /   "apollo,”   actions  motivated  by  their  twisted  sense  of  justice    (  vigilantism  /  extreme  violence   &   rigged  fate    ) ,  a  need  to  force  the  world  to  make  sense   (    joker’s  being  mentally  ill,  rehabilitation,  two-face  being  2  identities,  etc.  )  ,  and  a  fervent  belief  in  GOOD   AND  EVIL  being  dichotomous,  or  black  and  white.  to  the  joker,  the  world  makes  the  MOST  sense  when  it  doesn’t.   good  and  evil  aren’t  dichotomous  because  neither  exists;  there  is  only  sanity  and  madness,  and   if  you’re  sane,  you’re  mad     &    if  you’re  mad,  then  you’re  sane.  two  -  face  isn’t  real  and  the  coin  is  bs  to  him.   harvey  has  always  been  the  ONLY  personality,  and  every  terrible  thing  he’s  done  has  been  of  his  own  free  will,  and  the  quicker  harvey  admits  this,  the  sooner  batman  will  realize  there  is  no  such  thing  as  good  and  evil.  only  those  who  get  the  joke  and  those  who  don’t.    X,   X,   X,   X,   X,   X.

EDWARD  NYGMA  is  the  joker’s  COMPETITIVE  RIVAL. the  two  bicker  like  a  violent,  old  married  couple,  constantly  trying  to  one  up  the  other,  and  embarrass  the  other.  the  riddler  is  one  of  very  few  rogues  who  can  not  only  match,  but  best,  batman’s intellect.  should  the  two  remain  rivals,  the  riddler  and  the  joker  will  NEVER  succeed  in  their  battle  against  batman,  but  together  -  -   they  could  not  only  best  batman,  but  kill  batman.  BUT, the  joker  is  not  a  man   willing  to  share,  and  allowing  someone  to  bask  in  the  glory  of  defeating  batman,  or  worse,  killing  him  will  render  the  joker  not  only  useless,  but  will  ruin  the  fun.  the  joker  is  noted  as  being  the  rogue  who    *   took  it  too  far,     and   he’s    *   annoying.     they  also   *   hug  sometimes.   their’s  is  a  story  of  rivalry,  doomed  alliances,  and  betrayal.    X,   X,   X.

SELINA  KYLE  remains  joker’s  biggest  threat.  she  is  the  one,  true  thing  standing  between  he  and  batman,  and  by  her  just  existing,  she  threatens  joker’s  eternal  conflict  with  the  bat.   the  joker  has  nothing  against  selina   personally,  but  so  long  as  she  and  batman  are  involved  in  any  capacity  deeper  than  enemies,  their  relationship  will  render  all  of  the  joker’s  useless.  he  knows  what  to  do  to  give  batman  peace.  he  knows  that  after  killing  his  robin,  beating  the  others,  terrorizing  gotham  and  targeting  the  gordons,  that  through  it  all    -  -    batman  can  find  peace.  he  can  find  happiness,  and  that  happiness  belongs  with  catwoman.  but  he  will  never  allow  that  to  happen.  he  believes  that   HE  IS  BATMAN’S  SOUL  MATE    &    a  world  without  batman  is  a  world  without  the  joker.   X,   X.
