Augustus has known Errol the longest, as they have been friends since childhood. In contrast, Errol met Louve in their mid-teens.

I'm not going to lie I originally created these two just for Errol's development and suffering, cough. but sharing ocs with friends somehow motivaties you to flesh them out! 

For now, this is just a summary (I’m still figuring out all the details…

Louve was Errol's first love. She was a wolf-raised child discovered by Errol and other villagers, who forcibly took her in. Their relationship had a very rocky start, but Errol eventually earned her trust. Eventually, Louve grew very fond of them, even though she was often unsettled by Errol's curse like her wolf family. (Errol suspected that the wolves who raised Louve were not ordinary, they seemed to have human-like intelligence)

Like many first loves, Errol was drawn to Louve because she was openly affectionate. Having been a lonely child, this simple affection meant so much to them (though that changed after they grew up :P

Their relationship ended after two years, when a major conflict with the village arose. Louve chose to leave with the wolves. Errol begged her to stay, but Louve turned and asked why Errol wouldn't come with her instead. She knew Errol never like the village, so why couldn't they choose to come with her? Errol couldn't answer. They couldn't even lift their eyes to meet hers. They only looked up when they heard her leave.

To this day, Errol still wonders if they should have taken her hand.

A few years after Louve's departure, Augustus and Errol expressed their feelings for one another. Augustus's affection was less overt than Louve's, but it made Errol feel deeply seen. Having known Errol their entire life, Augustus was familiar with their most vulnerable sides and had always been there for them. Their daily interactions were natural as if the curse didn't even exist. It was more than Errol could have ever asked for.

But of course, if Augustus were still with them, Errol wouldn't have needed to journey out to find a cure, would they?

It was a preventable accidence. Augustus's death was the main catalyst for Errol to find a cure (aside from the fact that the villagers no longer felt safe with a cursed person who had caused someone's death, leading the mage who raised them to have to exile them) But his death also ruined Errol. Both of their significant relationships were taken away from them. But it was not just the curse, Errol knows they are to blame too... yea sorry. I mentioned Ex-lover in the previous post, but what I meant was dead lover

My friends were also devastated by Augustus's death lol(Friend A: Why are you doing this to Errol? Friend B: Dude why would you kill off a hunk like this

Sooooo don't worry! Theres a separate timeline where Augustus and Errol decide to travel together to find the cure aaaaaand pick up their third along the way hehehehe(yes them TS cast) >:P

And for the record, Louve isn't completely out of the picture, either. She's living well (She got blessing from Mother Nature and know how to use magic now)
