Ok we had a couple of days to decompress from the tour. Let me ask you, why do you think he was so loud? So when he did the live stream, larries were prepared to not mention Harry at all, we kept the whole stream about him, then he walked out with a giant H shirt. Ok. Then for the tour, I swear larries were gonna keep the whole thing about his music only. Zero Harry mention at all. But then Louis made so much of the tour about Harry. The aggressive pointing at larry things. Like the sing walls if larry is real was undeniable. I've watched every clip available and he 100% pointed at that sign. When the one fan had the eviscerate larries sign, Louis bolted to that side of the stage and sang "larry" to their face, twice!. The bluegreening with the drinks, and the green lighting onstage and around arena, the blue greening with the shirt in Houston then 28 days later in Seattle, the awesome Denver larry reference with the blue and white shirt. I mean come on, singing 7 with the bloody larry lyrics every night. Every single one of those things I mentioned was a choice. Larries didn't force or trick him into doing any of them. He went out on stage and made a conscious decision to do it. Why do you think that is? Did he do it for him and Harry? Since this is their only way of professing their love for eachother publicly. Did he do it for us to reassure us? As far as I'm concerned, he straight up confirmed larry is real and they're together to this day. But is this something that just stays in the larry fandom and doesn't reach solo harries? Solo Louies were mad at us anytime we did anything larry related, but other then the singing of sweet creature outside his bus, I don't think we did anything that crossed any lines. Maybe this is all just a competition with him and Harry to see who can outlarry who lol
Hi anon! So first of all, I think it was established by Louis himself that he would 100% make everything about Larry when he first covered 7 (not only that but he tweeted about it beforehand!!). It was his first solo show and larries were very concerned to make things about him, and the motherfucker went and sang Princess Park and Larry calls a load of smoke in and killed us all. We don’t have the power to make anything about Larry, they’re the ones always doing that.
As for being loud and engaging with several larry related signs and stuff like that on tour, I don’t believe they ever did anything or will ever do with the purpose of reassuring us or giving us *proofs*. They always communicated with us, and I always believed it was because they needed that, as a way to cope with everything they went through, to be heard, to make it more real, to make sure their fight was being acknowledged. I can’t even imagine how it must feel like to be so severely closeted like they are, and to have to hide such a long term relationship like that, but I understand that the feeling of not being seen and therefore what they have not feeling real enough somehow must be devastating. So I always felt like they did that to express themselves. And listen… Louis always did that, I think that while he was in the band he was more severely controlled which gave him less freedom to do it, but he always did. But the reality is that we never had any sort of experience like that with solo Louis before. This is his first solo tour after years of anticipation. Plus his fanbase changed a lot during the pandemic, I don’t know about you guys but I was very surprised to see that most of the crowd on his shows in the US were larries. This is huge! He wouldn’t be interacting with so much larry stuff if there wasn’t so many larries being loud and bringing signs in the first place (which is what happens with Harry), so I think that his attitude towards that is mostly a reaction to what he is seeing in front of him 99% of the time and also the 🏳️🌈 safe 🏳️🌈 environment that was created.
But I’m not going to lie, he was very loud. And it surprised me a lot of times, he truly didn’t hold back and it was beautiful to see. Of course he will never be actually confirming Larry until they’re out, there’s still a lot of plausible deniability involved in pointing at signs. So I’m not sure if it was the result of a combination of a number of factors like actually having more freedom and safe space so he could express himself like that, OR if maybe we’re talking about something deeper here. I mean, there was a shift with babygate right before his tour, and that’s weird. They just brought the kid to one of the shows and for what…. So I wonder if both things are connected, if there’s a movement behind the scenes we’re not aware of. We’re going to have to wait and see, I guess. But whatever it is, I hope Louis keeps doing his thing and delivering our daily dose of larry on every single show of this tour if that’s what he wants 😂😂
