see as a girl who finds the idea of romance or sex with men so repulsive it drives me to retch, having to hear about if lesbians can or cannot have sex with men constantly has been really bad for my mental health. and its not about if one side is right or wrong. its that i cant fucking escape the unending discussion and still participate in lesbian spaces. and thats on both sides

people act like tumblr is so much better than twitter but if someones posts or vibes annoy me on twitter and i mute/block them i literally never have to be reminded of their existence again. they are gone from my world. on tumblr there is no fucking direct analogue to that and i end up hatescrolling the the account of someone who annoys me every few days. genuinely twitter makes it easier to protect myself from my worst social media habits

Regarding the term Egg. I recall hearing the term in 2016, ironically around about the time that I was most an egg. At the time, it was used almost exclusively to refer to people who were about to realise themselves as women. That doesn't mean that the term should stay that way, just that "imminent women" were and remain more visible/ legible than "imminent men"
