@jaazzmary ➰➰Twisted Bantu Knot Out➰➰ Using the @lovelottabody NEW Fortify Me Strengthening Leave In Conditioner & Twist Me Curl Styling Pudding 👐🏾 I started on freshly washed hair and sprayed the #LottaBody leave in all throughout my hair and put it in 2 twists to stretch my hair and help it dry a little faster. After a few hours, I separated my hair into smaller sections and two strand twisted my hair then twirled them up into bantu knots! The detangling comb I’m using is by @txturepro 〰 I did get a little too anxious and unravelled my twists a little early so they were slightly damp but still came out good! While I might not use the SM curling gel soufflé as my definer anymore I’ll definitely use the rest of it as a summer moisturizer/refresher. This was the first time I’ve used it in 3 years/since the formula change. I love the shine and moisture it gives my curls, but the stickiness can be bothersome. It acts more like a jelly oil sheen, honestly Curls Unleashed Curl Boosting Jelly does exactly that my curls POP and don’t shrink as much as they did with SM. Now where it falters is that it doesn’t have much moisture or sealing qualities of the CGS so it does dry out after a day or so. Added with my banding method What I did find is that if you use a dab and I mean A. DAB. 👌of CGS after a light mist of water it gives your day 2+ wash n go moisture, movement, and a nice shine.
