LOTF Characters & Sleep Headcanons:
Ralph: The sleep-talker. Anything from incomprehensible mumbles & gibberish to full on conversations. Probably a pretty light sleeper and prone to waking up in mid-sentence, if someone accidentally wakes him. Naturally wakes up ridiculously early and just stares at the ceiling being existential until everyone else wakes up.
Simon: Duvet hog & koala. As a very touchy-feely person, Simon 100% squeezes people in his sleep like a koala. He also totally falls asleep first and hogs the duvet covers from whoever he’s sharing a duvet or blanket with. Probably also sleeps in until about 10am, maybe 11am or so. Definitely the most likely out of everyone to sleepwalk and wander off somewhere, though, and has probably scared someone while doing so.
Jack: Suuper deep sleeper. Probably doesn’t fall asleep until pretty late, but once he’s out, he’s out like a light. Falls asleep in one position and barely moves a muscle until he wakes back up. Probably also wakes up ridiculously early, but gets annoyingly competitive about it and likes to brag about being the first one awake. He and Ralph probably have unofficial competitions over it.
Roger: Does Roger sleep? Who knows. If he does, it isn’t until at least 3 or 4 am. Probably highly annoying to sleep anywhere near, though, due to kicking people in his sleep, as well as also being a duvet hog. Definitely claims not to have dreams, and in all honesty, it’s probably true.
Sam: Wakes up about 5 times in a night. Blames it on his brother’s snoring, but it’s probably from browsing Reddit the internet until all hours. During sleepovers, he has almost definitely had midnight conversations with Ralph until realising that Ralph is actually asleep. When he does get to sleep, he probably wakes up as a fairly reasonably time, like 8am or so.
Eric: Ultimate snorer. Definitely a heavy sleeper, Sam has probably thrown multiple things at him during the night to try and make him stop snoring. None of them actually wake him up or make him stop. Doesn’t wake up the next day until around 2pm or so, by which point Sam has already probably finished everything on his to-do list.
Maurice: Probably also falls asleep super late, spamming the group chat, playing video games, eating cereal, etc. Has definitely fallen asleep in some weird locations, like underneath the kitchen table or on the stairs or something. Sometimes alcohol is involved, sometimes it’s just Maurice being weird. Probably has trouble distinguishing between his weird dreams and reality. Generally wakes up at at a decent time unless it’s the weekend.
