2. in the snow? If you don't mind crackish pairings, your old Daisy and my spark? ā”
āNo, Spark.ā Daisy tries to keep her voice firm, but kind. Heās been asking all week. All. Week. āI told you last time, Iād go out with you and make snowmen afterĀ you finished your midterm paper.ā Sparkās expression falls. But Daisy had spent most of her childhood resisting her little brotherās masterfullyĀ crafted Poochyena eyes, and so she only gives a token roll of her eyes.Ā āNo, Spark. Finish your midterm paper.ā She says strictly. Spark gives a sigh, propping his head up in his hand. Eventually, the adult turns back to his computer, sulking the whole while. The woman sighs at her boyfriend, pressing a kiss to the top of his head.Ā āI love you,ā She reminds him.Ā āYou canāt open up a Pokemon shelter without that degree you want, so get to it. I promise Iāll make you something as a congratulations.ā Spark doesnāt seem to hear her, still sulking grumpily as he sifts through paperwork. Sheās almost out the door when he answers.
āLove you too,ā He calls, and Daisy smiles as she leaves their shared apartment.
She comes back a few hours later, a bucket in hand, to find Spark triumphantly submitting his midterm assignment, before turning his doleful gaze back onto her. A chuckle makes him pout harder, before looking at the bucket.
āThe snow melted.ā He pouts at her, and Daisy waves the bucket in her hands in amusement.
āOh? Then what do you call this?ā She grins. She had known Spark wouldnāt finish in time before the snow had disappeared, so sheād pulled up a bucketful of snow and hidden it in the school fridge. His wondering gaze lands on it, and she blushes at how awed he seems by her.Ā āCome on,ā She says lightly.Ā āItās not much, but at least we can get a snowcone out of it.ā
āIām sorry I everĀ doubted you,ā Spark follows her to the kitchen, amazed.
