He'd been distracted, and that lead to picking things up with his psychokinesis. The hedgehog was daydreaming, and that lead to him tripping over a log that had been lifted by his own power. Everything fell back down after that. It hurt, but it was nothing like the pain he'd experienced back in his own time.

"...Sorry about that."

Silver spoke these words, as he accepted the hand, and got right back on his feet.

Raised eyebrow.

" You can't just threaten someone and not follow up with it. That's called leading someone on. "

A chuckle.

If the jackal's intent was to puzzle, then it's working a God damn treat.

Raised claws lower, head tilting to one side-- not much unlike a confused pup, ironically enough. Neo's intent was to eviscerate, let's not mistake the situation at hand here, but it seems such a comment has at least temporarily quelled him via means of confusion.

    {➹} – THE CANINE AND THE HEDGEHOG were much the same in that respect. Arrow hated bullies, and never hesitated to defend someone who found themselves caught in their relentlessness. They were one of very few things he couldn’t tolerate. 

    Yet it was funny that, when he was on the other end of it, the hero had a tendency to either lash out, or freeze entirely. And today? It happened to be the latter.

    Fortunately, one look at the canine seemed to tell the small group that this was an altercation they didn’t want that day. It didn’t stop them from huffing, and spitting quiet curses before turning with sneers and walking away. They didn’t look back, didn’t try to catch the pair unaware, and were soon out of sight entirely.
