#lost hand

ok so I’m gonna get past the stairs because aziraphale can help us out, since he can go up there no problem.

The things I need to think about, then, are getting past the other angels, finding Gabriel, and getting out of there.

Hm...

“Thank Hell you’re here,” the former prince sighed, “everything’s gone to shit.”

“What a surprise.” Dagon replied sarcastically.

“Dagon...before anything else, I wanted to tell you that I’m sorry you had to find out...like that. I wanted to tell you, I really did, but they could’ve gotten suspicious if you knew, and I had no idea—“

“Save your breath, my lord. I put the past behind us, and that’s when I realized something about myself. I was never really loyal to Hell at all.”

“What?”

“I was always loyal to you.”

Beelzebub leaned their head against the edge of the doorway. Great, they thought. All I needed was more confusing emotions.

You missed a lot, but here’s the basics.

Heaven found out, so Gabriel freaked out and stormed off. And as it turns out, we rebels have no more power than anyone else, something the original rebels neglected to tell me. So he isn’t immune to anything, after all...and I’m getting a suspicion that Heaven’s captured him. So that’s incredibly convenient(that’s sarcasm.) 

I’m going to need all the allies I can get...and Dagon’s agreed to help out. It took some convincing, but she’s on board, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

I’m also getting strange dreamlike visions recently...I think I’m starting to remember before the Fall. Maybe it’s a natural occurrence on the planet, or maybe it’s some kind of punishment for rebelling.
