Given that the Lost Contact comic book refers to Kyle as one of the Starfleet Academy students, I’d say it’s safe to assume he’s gonna transfer soon. TBH I’d have preferred if he stayed in War College to show that cooperation despite differences is possible but it’s not a game breaker. Either way, which track he’d choose? I’m guessing command.
