I was looking for images of the Title Guarantee Building (on the right) and came across another Deco building, now gone.

Designed by Charles F. Whittlesey and opened in 1906, the auditorium facade was remodeled in 1938 by Stiles O. Clements; the structure was demolished in the 1980s.

Castle Dracula
I got a tip for the location of this old building and I was told, that this was some old youth centre. When I arrived there very late I was totally shocked by this beautiful old castle. I hadn‘t explected to be that old and wonderful.
It was an cold foggy day and the lights went down when I finally went into it through a window. Suddenly I felt cold and it felt like the house did eat me alive. Inside it was completely dark and my little flashlight didn’t bring much light into it. It was absolutely silent and when I found the bar I read the words above it: „When you read this it‘s already too late. They‘re coming for you!“. That was when I ended my exploration, because it was much to scary for me there. But at the same time it was wonderful!
Do you know what I mean? Did you ever feel the same?
The Pension
This sweet little pension had once been really nice. Unfortunately, their inhabitants left the beautiful building. It must have been sudden and surprised. After a while homeless people must be drafted, because all drawers were open and a small "sleeping area" was set up. The mold hangs on the ceilings and walls, the water runs in unhindered. Too bad that this small hotel is abandoned today. I would like to know what happened here, that its inhabitants disappear so quickly.
The old castle
When we arrived at the old castle it was still warm. The sun shone through the twigs of the former parks trees. But while we stood on the balcony, which had certainly been very beautiful before, the sky moved and it grew strangely gloomy. My three companions and me finally went inside through the widely open main portal. As soon as we had laid a foot inside, the wind blew through the old walls, and the doors were eerily slammed. We could hardly believe what a beautiful gem we had found here. The beauty of the big hall and the great blue tones can still be seen today, and I could imagine how once the owners of the castle had walked here. But no one lived here for a long time. And no one will live here in the future.
Castle-villa
The castles are very important to the people of Bavaria and therefore they are regularly repaired and maintained. But this is different, perhaps because it is a villa. However, through Gothic architecture, it seems more like a castle.
I was on an urbex tour with my cancer-sick friend, because she absolutely wanted to go on a tour with me. It was a creepy yet romantic mood to look at this old garden, which is slowly becoming more and more wilder. For both of us it was a moving moment!

The Kaiserhof
I visited a spa place, which are very common in germany, and expected to see many great, intact buildings. Unfortunately, health resorts are becoming less and less used, because of the German health care reform and are being abandoned.
In this formerly beautiful hotel, my father stayed for a night, not even five years ago. But now everything is different. The letters of the lettering fall off, the gutters are clogged, the rooms moldy. The former owners of the house must have left the property like a fury, for the furniture is still standing in the porch.
A strange feeling to stand there. There must have been a lot of life in these rooms. Now there is only silence!
The pyramid crypt
This strange place was one of the strangest Lost places I've ever been to. My father showed it to me. He happened to pass by here a few years ago while walking.
Unfortunately, I could not figure out who had this strange memorial built. The tombs and coffins inside are empty and there are no inscriptions. The building is weathered and it seems as if no one had been here for a long time.
Nearby is a medieval castle. But why should anyone who lived in this castle built a pyramid. A funny feeling in the middle of the cold, dark, german forests to find a pyramid.
The bucket wheel excavator
I drove as a passenger in a car and looked at the landscape. Suddenly I could see this beautiful monster in the distance. A few days later I came back with a friend and we explored this machine. It turned out that a few years ago there was a gravel that had gone bankrupt. Everything else was taken, only the bucket wheel excavator was probably too big and too heavy. Since then, he has been muddy here. Especially its color and industrial form I like particularly well and made it so interesting for my photos. He will probably never ride again.
