who: @losingdcgs, victor craven where: lagoon library
Lucas was an introvert. Heād known that since childhood, often retreating to a quiet corner to read, away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. So, it was no wonder, then, that when he found himself with a few hours free on the weekend, he chose to spend them at lagoon library. As they said, there were too many books, not enough time, and Lucas's TBR list could attest to that.
He should have known better, though, than to rejoice in the tranquility of a few hours of peace. The Universe always seemed to be conspiring against him, a fact that was reiterated to him when he came bookstack to chest with the last person he'd ever thought he'd see in Palmview again. "Victor," he questioned, not quite sure if this was real or some torturous figment of his imagination. "I uh... didn't mean to nearly bowl you over. Just a bit excited about books, you know, and couldn't decide what I wanted to start with first. So I chose all of them." He coughed out a laugh, well aware that, in his nervousness, he was rambling. "How are you?"
