the first image was supposed to be of them wearing the bracelets, but I used a charcoal pencil and so it got reallyyyy smudged.

I keep looking back at the bracelets they are so good :33 i like the beads on Meeki’s and Danelle’s!

Lowkey not ready for class to start up tomorrow 😭 I got so much going on tbh. I’m kinda stressed

Plus another class happening too, that means I’m gonna be there all day 😭 AHHHH it’s fine… I mean the class is chill and fun but it’s just aghhhhhi’m gonna miss the chill of not having class, especially since I wasn’t really able to enjoy the after Christmas time, where everything SHOULD be a blur… ehgghhhhhhh

also yes, there’s a new character! One I literally made up FOR this drawing in fact! I have yet to start making a character sheet but he has a name! Brodie Beetle!

Brodie is basically the underpaid teenaged employee who basically is Loretta’s problem child that she has to look after, begrudgingly mind you.

Also this takes place after the Flumphrey tripping comic, they decided to get hot chocolate after his fall ;3

Idk why I suddenly have so much energy to draw my characters in scenarios, but it’s nice to sketch rather than doing a full color art every time

tbh I think the sketch for the comics have an certain charm to them. Maybe that’s just me tho!

Missy is going as a black cat for Halloween!

Flumphrey is going as a vampire, Danelle is going as The Bride of Frankenstein, Loretta is a witch.

now I haven’t drawn Nora and Nixon in they’re Halloween costumes yet, but I think Nixon would be a mad Scientist and Nora wouldn’t want to dress up, but Loretta would make her dress up as a witch as well, Loretta would hate to have one of her friends be left out of the fun.

It’s mah Birfday today, I am Lucy years old!

I realize that I don’t post my watercolor or traditional art all that often, and I haven’t drawn digital in like a month lol

I don’t normally draw my characters in water color so that’s why it lowkey looks buns

I really should post my other water color tho, and my sketches and stuff

Mannn… I hope I enjoy my birthday today, it’s one am rn so idk yet, but I hope I do, I was lowkey dreading it, but we hopeful now boys

I absolutely love how good Danelle looks, I struggled a lot sketching her out at first, this was like the tenth different pose and I genuinely think it turned out really well, I need to draw her more fr.

she’s lowkey like a Barbie doll or something, you can dress her up in so many ways and styles, I need to play around and draw her more!

Missy turned out pretty darn well, better than I expected and Flumphrey’s ight.

we aren’t even gonna talk about Loretta bcuz idk what happened to her lol

MERRY CHRISTMAS!! (Almost Christmas… gotta wait almost a hour) (actually 30 minutes now as I’m writing this :)

okay okay okay okay…. So alottt to explain here! This took my like a week (off and on) to draw and also because I wanted to draw each and every individual hare on Flumphrey :) (heheh pun… hes a hairs and he has hair… yeahhhh) but I actually finished the drawing like 3 days ago!

I didn’t add Brodie or Danelle because 1. I am still designing Brodie and he doesn’t have confirmed colors yet, and beforehand I was attempting to redesign Danelle and I haven’t…. Finished it yet…. :’)

idk if I will ever finished it, since it’s just her wardrobe and to make her more puppet like, and her wardrobe is kinda like Miss Piggy, she’s a versatile queen (is that the correct terminology?)

I think what I really need to do is redesign all the characters together(?) if that makes sense? Like try to make it do they all sorta complement each other.

my problem with that is that Meadow is a REALLLLYYYYYY big place (even has a beach and different biomes… think zootopia but no barriers)

so naturally There’s a lot of characters, including holiday characters, (Christmas, Easter, Halloween, thanksgiving…etc)

and so it’s gonna be hard to design… especially for 1 person yk?

I really gotta focus on the main cast, I’m thinking of instead of just being Missy and Flumphrey, but throwing another kid in the mix, making the duo a trio, actually I’ve been thinking about this for awhile now, since I have had the idea for Meadow Friends, it’s just hard to figure out what animal or if human or monster, I have a ton of unused designs for her.

what I really need to do is write down the lore, I even got a journal for it but every time I open it, I just blank :(

hai… so this was originally supposed to be better, and more frames butttt for some reason procreate dreams decided to fail on me and turn every color I drew grayish so I couldn’t finish it so I tried

then procreate dreams wasn’t letting me export it so then I had to screen record it, hence why there is a CapCut thing at the end, I literally redownloaded it only for that lol

man it sucks cuz I literally colored the frames Loretta was in on a different app and then I put it inside Dreams and it wouldn’t work.

it was a hassle… I would never recommend procreate dreams, don’t get me wrong, I love the normal OG drawing app, but the animation one is terrible, so unfinished and buggy.

but hey this thing has been floating around in my head for awhile and thought it was funny since it sums up bits of Loretta and Missy’s dynamic

Yes, I would absolutely love to talk about her!

her name is Missy Mariposa! She’s the protagonist, main character, the leading gal to a horror project I’m making called Meadow Friends! (I finally settled with a name haha—)

She lives with her grandparents in the town of Meadow Lily

She is a very jovial butterfly puppet who means well even when she messes up; she loved to pretend to be a knight, just like how her grandpa was

she plays the ukulele! (Though it does look like a guitar, that’s mostly a drawing mistake on my part since I’m still figuring out drawing instruments lol)

I should totally draw her playing the ukulele more, (gotta motivate me to learn mine hahah)

now I will say, Meadow Friends is still very early conceptual wise, as I am still figuring out key parts and deciding timelines and what I want and not what I want lol, as well as making characters as well!

funny enough I have actually made another character (early concept) that I will release later 👀
