Loren Eiferman’s “Home: Inside/Outside” (2014) at Metro North Railroad Pelham Station is inspired by an idyllic concept of home. The intricate metal platform railings take influence from old English carpet designs that would have been found in Pelham homes during the 1890s. The patterned panels and their carpets of cast shadows, illustrate that home is anywhere and everywhere.

Loren Eiferman will be showing a new body of work, inspired by a 15th century manuscript, at ODETTA gallery in Brooklyn in Invocation, a group exhibition focusing on healing. Opening celebration, Friday May 12, 6-8pm.
