While playing ME2:LE the other day I did the mission N7:Lost Operative, and I always knew that this would be where Reagan and Coats would reunite after her resurrection. At this point, she already had encountered Kaidan on Horizon. Before her death, the three of them were in a romantic relationship, Kaidan joining in the olalreasy established relationship between Reagan and [William] Coats.

Raising his military issued knife to eyesight, he inspects it, making sure it's at his satisfaction when hears the shuttle land next to him. Pocketing the knife, he gets out his shuttle and approaches the other and watches how she steps out of the car followed by a turian who he remembers, Garrus, and an unfamiliar face, a woman, her face pale like ivory framed by black hair and a sneer on her face. He notices the Cerberus logo and his eyes narrow at the woman. He doesn't doubt Reagan's decision, of course, with the available crew she currently has, he suspects she's very limited on who she can bring along with her. 

Reagan approaches him, the crooked mischievous smile he knows so well, was etched on her face. That alone is enough for him to know it's truly her. No one else could replicate such a devious smile that made her eyes so dark with mischievous thoughts.

"Welcome back to the world of the living," he chuckles.

"I would have gotten in touch with you sooner-"

"Shhh." He quiets her with kisses, hands unable to resist reaching for her as they snake behind her head and holds her in place. "You have other things to worry about," he reassures her when he pulls away only keeping their foreheads glued together.

"They sent you to spy on me as well didn't they." He can tell it takes all her willpower to avert her eyes from his as she keeps them on his lips. 

Coats inhales deeply and pulls his forehead away, tucking her head under his chin. "I can neither deny or confirm your suspicions." He tactifully avoids the question, but he knows she's smart enough to figure out the implication of it.

"Son-of-a-bitch." She hisses. Her teeth bare like a mad dog as she looks at him. "Alenko's reports weren't enough? They need to send you to watch me too?!" 

"I don't know what Alenko told them." He adjusts his weight on one hip and crosses his arms. He hopes he sounds convincing enough. 

"Right? And I'm just suppose to believe that while his dick was so far up your arse he didn't tell ya anything?" She sneers at him taking a few steps back.

"Rea, it's not like that." Coats uncrosses his arms and takes a few steps towards her.

THE OPENING MINUTES, the yelling, and then the quick switch of guilt towards her behaviour to Sister Clara..WHICH RUTH DISPLAYED IN HER EYES!!

Then her taking on The Magisterium with seduction and fear....Ruth has stolen this series as Marisa for me

I wasn’t even that excited to see James McAvoy again...(I was but RUTH OUTSHINES Y’ALL)
