Under the alias, Christophe Fiennes, Aston is a Foreign Language Teacher for Beacon Hills High School, teaching Spanish, French, German, Latin, and Italian. After school Foreign Language clubs he spearheads include Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Greek, and American Sign Language. This is his cover story.

He is actually a Former Hunter. After word of Deucalion's blinding, Aston did some asking around, finding out about Deucalion's former advocacy for peace between were-kind and human-kind. A supporter of the Idea, Aston quietly settled, Getting a job teaching what he knew best, foreign language. He keeps tabs on the Town's werewolf activity, as its in his nature, but if push came to shove, he'd-- unlike Chris, who was forced into it-- willingly help out Werewolves that seek his assistance. He is rather close to Deaton, having had assisted him in Scott's place when he had the chance, which was not often.
