2-4 songs that are probably on their ipod: ruby definitely has ALL KINDS of cute pop stuff. she's got shake it off and blank space, probably happy, and fun upbeat stuff like that. weiss is really into mellow acoustic kinds of songs, like the a team or details in the fabric- they help her relax and take off some of the stress of being weiss schnee. blake has a lot of instrumental that she listens to as background noise to help her focus- film scores and video game soundtracks, mostly. and of course yang can rock some fall out boy, so centuries and the phoenix are in there somewhere.the one place they sometimes end up falling asleep — where they’re not supposed to: ruby has probably fallen asleep in a class at some point. weiss falls asleep in vehicles- trains, airships, practically anything (not really a "not supposed to" but i bet she has travelled a LOT and mastered the art of sleeping while in motion). blake is one of those people who can be standing up or leaning against a wall and kind of start dozing. and if yang gets tired enough she will crash literally anywhere. once she fell asleep on a sidewalk somewhere on campus because she was too tired to make it all the way back to her dorm.the game they’d destroy everyone else at: ruby is MAD good at wii boxing. just absolutely slays. weiss prefers card games or strategy games- she nearly threw a temper tantrum once because she kept falling off a course in mario kart. blake is really good at puzzle games like portal and limbo- they're not competitive, but she always solves them faster than anyone else. yang can and will mess you up in smash bros.the emoticon they’d use most often: ruby uses :D, weiss doesn't use emoticons, blake uses -_- and yang uses ;)what they act like when they haven’t had enough sleep: ruby gets really uncoordinated and can't focus, weiss just gets REALLY short tempered, blake becomes practically immobile and yang just gets really hyperactive and loopy.their preferred hot beverage on really cold nights. or mornings. or whenever: ruby likes cocoa with about a thousand marshmallows- she always ends up eating all the marshmallows first, though, and then has to get more marshmallows. weiss likes coffee- not black, but not overly sweet, either. blake likes hot chai, sometimes with vanilla. yang likes caramel lattes and always drinks them when they're still too hot. how they like to comfort/care for themselves when they’re in a slump: ruby puts on comfy pjs and gets under warm blankets and reads one of her favorite books from when she was little- this also sometimes involves aforementioned cocoa and marshmallows. weiss likes to go somewhere kind of quiet like the library and just listen to music alone for a little while. blake takes really long walks- like, worryingly long walks- to sort out her thoughts. she also likes to draw when she's feeling down. yang goes for some sort of adrenaline rush to pull herself out of a bad mood, so she'll either go for a motorcycle ride or some kind of sparring practice to get her going.what they wanted to be when they grew up: ruby has practically always wanted to be a hero, which to her meant a huntress. weiss was always pretty much told she'd end up in the family company, and she eventually just kind of accepted it, but when she was little she wanted to be a dancer or a gymnast or maybe even a figure skater (it's a headcanon of mine that she had lessons in all three as a kid, just look how acrobatic she is when she fights). blake wanted to be an activist and a leader to fight for faunus rights, but when that got a little soured by the new leader of the white fang, she turned to protecting people instead. yang always wanted to do something big and exciting, like a stuntperson or a racecar driver or something, but eventually she decided on huntress.their favorite kind of weather: ruby likes sunny days when everything is bright blue and green. weiss likes it when there's a chill in the air but no snow. blake likes cool weather with a bit of a breeze, one that makes you need a jacket but isn't uncomfortably cold yet. yang likes the middle of summer when it's really hot and sunny, but also summer thunderstorms.thoughts on their singing voice (decent? terrible? soprano? alto?): ruby and yang both love singing along with the radio and belting out the lyrics- neither has an excellent sense of pitch but they have fun with it. weiss is obviously a very good soprano (white trailer) but she doesn't really enjoy singing as much as she used to. it's my headcanon that blake has a really really beautiful lowish voice (probably alto 1 or 2), but she hates singing in front of people because she doesn't like the way it sounds.how/what they like to draw or doodle: ruby doodles on her notes in class- little flowers and smiley faces and all that kind of cute little stuff. weiss, if she's going to draw, is going to do it right, so she spends a lot of time on her art to make sure it looks exactly how she wants it to. usually, she draws still-life kinds of things with whatever objects she finds around. blake draws whatever she's thinking about, which lately has had a lot to do with torchwick and the white fang and everything that's happened there. i think she draws because she needs to- sort of like how peeta painted scenes from the hunger games after they were over? and yang likes coloring books. completely and unironically.
