A few more Loonaverse parallels that I noticed in Loossemble’s TTYL mv.
- Yeojin and Vivi reaching for each other made me think of this shot from Egoist.
- Vivi and those balloons immediately made me think of her solo photoshoot. I had to dig for that screenshot in the LoonaTV playlist. Episode 108 btw lol
- The Vivi/Kim Lip one is a stretch, but the red neon signs just rang a bell in my head. More aesthetic than thematic.
- As for Hyunjin’s eye, ofc it’s another odd eye, but it also ofc harkens back to her representative animal being a cat
Almost added that shot of Vivi running towards Yeojin to match that scene of her running in Hi High, but it didn’t feel close enough. Also almost included the scene of Hyunjin eating the light, comparing it to Kim Lip in PTT, but the shots didn’t really match up.
