loopys
i don't know what is taking me so long to finish my second loopy. it's been over a year. the first one was out in may. it's may again.
that's too long!
what can i do? can i make another quick one first? should i try to make a few more quick ones to get me back into the momentum. and make them more like "chubby squirrel" and "dark blue jeans".
"eat the fries first" grew too big. it set the new precedence of being full songs with verses and choruses. "chubby squirrel" and "dark blue jeans" were more jingles. just a hook and maybe a bridge.
i should listen to old ideas and see if anything jumps out. but either way, i need to make several smaller loopys to get back on track.
i can save "zombies in las vegas" for october.
in that sense, it's ok to have one big one each year. as long as i have 5 smaller ones to make up for it. i wanted to do one a month, but at this point i'd be happy with one every two or three months.
