Apparently, according to the description, this is the first time this person has tried writing ever. I’ve got to say, that doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence that I’ll vibe with it, but honestly it’s pretty bold to come out swinging with a SBURBventure on your first attempt at writing. Like, SBURBventures are notoriously complicated to script and plan out (unless you decide to just forgo all that, but that way lies madness). Anyways, that’s enough of the Pre-Ramble…let’s actually read this thing.

Okay first note: Who is O-O the Dog. Am I supposed to know this? Is this, like, a cultural thing, or a thing that’ll be revealed within the text itself? I guess it could be both. But like, that’s the first thing that comes to mind. I guess I’ll maybe find out? Probably not. I’m keeping this note here even though it’s probably useless to anybody reading this review because I want to be true to life, and this was in fact the first thing I wanted to note down when starting to read this fanadventure, and then I got self-conscious about writing the note so I added this run-on sentence to somehow justify the whole mess. BEHIND THE SCENES FUN FACT TRIVA YAY!

Oh hey this is one of those Earth C Fanadventures that got popular around this time, where basically the author would create an OC that was also a descendent of one of the main characters from Homestuck. I guess this kind of mode of framing your story was *always* popular (see also KITTYQUEST) but like…I seem to remember it being around more often in 2023…also I guess 413 AC was also one of those post-Homestuck Game Fanadventures, but that’s not really the same concept in my eyes…I am getting a lot of 413 AC vibes from here, especially with the focus on like, the fact that the ancestors (read: our previous cast of main characters) have to like. Recreate the entire animal population? That’s a neat detail.
