The Angry Little Cupcake - Semi Finals!
The challenge for this round was to create a simple looped animation with the theme: Gone Fishing.
I really wanted to show what I could bring to a project with this challenge. I spent a lot of time on every aspect of this video: character design, posing, colors, lighting, animation, composting, etc. I also spent a fair amount of time thinking of the best way to portray this theme. I wanted to showcase the friendship between Michael and Cupcake and how they can have fun in any situation (and also the benefits to being a Cupcake). I hope the contrast of the frightened crowd (watching a scary movie) and my happy little duo came across.

Final Animation Loop
This is my final animation loop. I decided to expand the sequence by including another punchbag in blue for the cheese grater to punch. I feel this makes the sequence look more visually interesting as the colours match the character’s.
Here is the final animation loop of the punch. I feel that I should extend it so that it gets closer to the criteria of ten seconds. Currently I am very proud of what I have achieved so far with this animation.
