"A friend is a person who is willing to take me the way I am"
Or so people say.
But you haven't only accepted me, you've become part of me (and a very important one).
You've not only embrace my failures, you've force me to overcome them as obstacles, to become a person I even might starting to like (not quite yet but we'll get there).
Because I've never been good enough, but thanks to you every day I grow a bit more. With your help any wall can be wrecked and any goal is possible.
With you I can be myself. Plenty of times I've escaped of others after showing too much. Yet, you've follow. You've never gave up on me. Didn't give me "space" when I "needed" it. You've stayed and annoyed me until you got me thinking clearly again.
All because I was "cool" in your eyes and that was enough (plot twist I ain't bitch I tricked you).
At a slow pace you've get to know me and learn things nobody else knows. I'm not gonna lie I'm still waiting for the moment you'll realize and walk away. But deep down I know you won't.
Together we've made plenty of friends, lost some others and met new ones. We've met plenty of people in different environments and yet you and I still remain here, talking our hearts out and talking ourselves out of the darkest of times.
I hope when you see this you'll think of me (perhaps I should have drawn myself there huh) because there's plenty of distractions. LOL.
But the message is the same, said by them, said by me, by jaws or by anyone who means it.
We love you! Just the way you are!
And what others say doesn't matter.
Because even if they can't see it (and sometimes neither can you). Us, the ones who care, are here to remind you.
We are your family :) @mooniva
Love
~Mel.
