Hi everyone! I’m here and I bring a theory with me about OEC and yyxy, along with Hi High, Butterfly, and their new trailer Burn. This may be a stupid theory but I thought why not share it anyways?

So, first, I’ll start with OEC and yyxy. OEC is a unit with Jinsoul, KimLip, and Choerry, but for this one we’ll focus more on Jinsoul.

And for yyxy, it stands for youth youth by young, which contains members Olivia Hye, Gowon, Yves, and Chuu. We’ll focus on mostly Olivia, some of Yves, and maybe Chuu and Gowon.

So first off, I wanna talk about what yyxy may mean. I’ve seen lots of theories about how Gowon may be the ‘x’ in yyxy because she may be the one pulling all four of the together, or how she’s the ‘healer’ as seen in her teaser for butterfly. But I’ve seen more theories about how Olivia may be the ‘x’ because of how she was casted out of Eden, and another theory of Chuu being the ‘x’ because she’s the only member with a solo MV about loving someone else (Yves). But I read another theory of how Chuu may be Yves, but I think Gowon as the ‘x’ fits better for ME. 

As you see in this GIF of what happens of love4eva, Gowon looks back at Olivia when Gowon, Chuu and Yves escapes Eden. Chuu and Yves are in the front while Gowon stops and looks back at Olivia, much as how their logo looks like.

NOW to my real theory, I’m a firm believer that Olivia is definitely connected to Jinsoul from OEC. Olivia may be the one to pull out Jinsoul’s earbud in SCL, so Jinsoul pulls of the earbud Olivia may be wearing in Egoist.

Also, Olivia could be the one skipping around Odd Eye Circle in the teaser for Girl Front.

Although some people may think it’s Chuu, I think it’s Olivia.

As shown, Chuu runs around Yves trying to catch her attention, much like the person running around OEC.

I also think Olivia is attached to Jinsoul because in SITR, Jinsoul’s solo MV, we didn’t see rain until the MV. You saw that Jinsoul was dancing behind bars and she destroyed it, and then she danced in the rain.

And now she remains wet at the end.

It could be that Olivia trapped Jinsoul and she broke free, because Olivia is very powerful that she can handle the jump that happened in Hi High.

But now what I’m trying to say, I think that Burn and Butterfly have a connection BECAUSE of Jinsoul and Olivia. We all know that Hi High took place on Earth where Loona 1/3 is, and Butterfly is for sure about yyxy. They wanna be a butterfly and fly wherever they desire. Now in the Burn teaser, It connects to the Butterfly teasers, unlike how Butterfly wasn’t connected to Hi High at all.

And because Butterfly and Burn are connected, it could mean that OEC is planning to get back at Olivia. As you saw in Hi High, they tried to get back at her with Yves by making her jump. It’d make sense because even in Yves’ new MV, Yves dropped the wolf plush in the crane game, much how she dropped Olivia in Egoist.

It could mean that Olivia is the fallen angel, Lucifer, and OEC and Yves are on the plot to get their revenge on her. But Gowon might help her get her back and piece everyone together, as she is the ‘healer’ in the teasers for Butterfly and that she casts the butterfly effect on Olivia.

But that theory is for another post. And that’s my theory, hopefully it isn’t bad, but it probably is. Thank you for reading!! Don’t forget to stream the Butterfly MV.
