Y/n's POV

"Yah, Jiwoo, why my mom don't believe me that you exist?" I asked my friend, Chuu. "Because she does't seen me yet" she answered.

We continued to walk on the fields as we treasure our last time together.

"When are you coming back here?" Jiwoo asked me as stopped walking.

"Maybe after high-school? How about you? Don't you want to go with me?" I asked Jiwoo but she shookd her head.

"You know Y/n, I like you" she said and looked down.

"I like you too well, you're my fr-"

"No, I like you as something more" she cut me off. I looked at her and saw a letter on her hand while looking down.

"But it's okay for me if you don't like me back" she sadly said. I can't speak. My minds blank.

"But, please. Remember me as you go to the city. And just stare to the stars if you're lonely. You know that I'm always staring at the stars right? Imagine me by your side, talking to you. Y/n, I like you since the day you and your family moved here. Please, remember me as you go away. I love you and... I'll miss you" she ran to me and hugged me tight.

I hugged her back as my shirt got wet because of her tears. "I'll miss you too, Jiwoo. Sorry" she pulled away from the hug and gave me the letter. "Don't open it until my 20th birthday, okay?" I know when is her birthday and I will.

She finally ran away from the fields and she didn't looked back at me that made my heart hurt.

"Jiwoo, I like you too"

2 years later

It's been two years since Y/n left Jiwoo at the country side. Y/n must have forgotten about her and didn't realized that it was already Chuu's 20th birthday today.

As Y/n's alarm sound, he/she immediately took his phone and peek if he has an schedule today.

'Jiwoo' s Birthday'

The phone read. "Jiwoo?" Y/n asked himself/herself.

Beside the note, it says that 'read the letter Jiwoo gave me'

That time, it hit Y/n. He/she stood up immediately and looked beneath his bed and searched for that thing.

The letter immediately popped out of the box and he/she instantly opened it.

The letter still has Jiwoo's scent after two years.

Dear Y/n,

Hey! How's life? It's been two years, huh... I wish you're reading this right now and still don't forgot about me.

Well if you forgotten about me, I'm Kim Jiwoo, your friend since elementary school. Do you remember me now? If not, I'm the one who your mother don't believe that exist.

Did you know why I said that it's okay for you to not like me back at that time I confessed?

Y/n, I'm not really... Well I don't really exist.

It's my 20th birthday today and all I want is for you to be happy.

I closed the letter and laid back my bed. My memories with Jiwoo came back and also, my feelings for her.
