A quiet afternoon at Catford Constitutional Club. I'd never been there before but today I went with my friend John. I was starving so I had the veggie sausages and mash, which I can recommend, washed down with a pink lemonade. John had vegan beer. It's a totally quirky place. Totally shabby chic. Old floorboards, mix and match old furniture and peeling wallpaper. It's like someone found an decaying old house and put a bar in it. Have to bring Tallulah for lunch sometime. We were working on a proposal for a conference on non traditional / LGBTQ families and relationships and what we can do to support them. Got lots done. A rare moment of peace and tranquillity on the ice rink at @natural_history_museum. I've never been ice skating. I've attempted to go rollerblading though. I say attempted as I thought that trying to learn how to rollerblade in Hyde Park on a Sunday morning. Yeah.. No, not a good idea. I tried to move my way through the park dragging my self along, clinging onto the railings. Everyone in London just happened to be in the park that morning. Pointing and laughing. Not disguising the sniggering. I think I might have finally come to terms with that humiliation.
