I can't even explain in words quite clearly how amazing last night's small group was. Our prayers last night were so powerful. We met new people, exchanged numbers, shared testimonies, and encouraged one another. We expressed to each other our struggles, our challenges and desires for our children. We talked about the word "No" and what that could mean to our children when we abuse the word. We also talked about our new topic, "touch". How often are we touching our children with compassion, love, softly, with hands, a kiss or hug? When I asked myself this question, I became upset with my truthful response to myself. I should be the one they get it from? I should be the one who comforts them, kisses and holds them. This will build in them the confidence, assurance, strength, and power they need along with the word of God to conquer all things. Our Bible story Mark 5:25-29 is powerful. By just her faith and the touch of his clothe she was cured. Our touch has this power. Let's exhibit this daily. Mark 5:25â€-‬29 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/mrk.5.25-29.KJV So proud of you all, and even myself for bravely and humbly coming together in honesty and a pure heart in this journey as parents. #smallgroups #family #mommyhoodfun # blessed #braveandhumbleparenting #locatedindeland #familyhub #calvaryfl
