Tomorrow morning from 9-10am at @bounty_books I will be leading another free discussion and meditation group. This weeks topic is Self Compassion.⠀ ⠀ What does self compassion mean to you?⠀ How does the phrase make you feel? Does it make you uncomfortable? ⠀ Does it feel foreign or forced?⠀ ⠀ Does it feel like something you need more of?⠀ ⠀ I want you to relax into this moment. Take a deep breath. Imagine that you are seeing a child before you that is crying in physical or emotional pain. Reach out to them. Care for them. Comfort them. How would you speak to them? How would you treat them?⠀ ⠀ Now try to treat yourself that way today.⠀ ⠀ With all your stress, all you worries, all your to do lists, pay attention and speak to yourself like a child that you adore in that situation. Be gentle. Be kind.
