“Looming just outside the windows of the gallery is Mukhopadhyay’s piece The Opposing Thumb of Ekalavya. Accompanying the sculpture is an audio piece which includes excerpts from the Indian epic of Mahabharata. The piece explores the ethics of knowledge and guarded information through discrimination and elitism.” From the Curatorial Statement for Localhost’s current exhibition.
