In April 2011, I withdrew from Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) due to mental health issues. I had plans to study English and eventually move to University of Utah to study Creative Writing there.

That following October, I signed up for Cosmetology School, and graduated from it in September of 2013.

Now, 10 years later, I have been re-accepted into SLCC. I am going in to study ASL, maybe I'll even make it into their ASL Interpreter program. There's a lot of feelings in me: fear, imposters syndrome, and excitement.
