We're a fairly small but tight-knit group of artists and people who appreciate art and everyone has talked to everyone else at least once, like we're just one big family who love each other and their creations and when new people come join, we just be like 'welcome to the party, mate! here, we have drinks and refreshments and some tissues for the feels you no-doubt have after that ending, go look at the art some of us have made, make some of your own, too! what's that? you think you're not good at art? make some anyway, you're one of us now, we'll love it cuz we love you! Go say hi to Mama Owlboiii the big Owlboy blogs, don't be shy, they love new kids! Ooh, that's a nice Owlboy Oc ya dun drew, go show it to Papa D-Pad Studios! Hm? Well, of course they'll see it! They'll love it too! They love everybody in their fandom, they're a part of the fandom!' It's just something you don't see often in other fandoms, this sense of familiarity and friendship with eachother, even tho we don't actually know most of everyone else in real life. And what's more, the creators themselves are a part of it too, cuz when we think 'creators' we think of people who don't have time to go and talk to and be a part of their fans lives, yet here we have D-Pad studios not only making posts here on Tumblr about the results of their work, but also to show their appreciation towards their fans by reblogging their art and making such sweet comments about them, like we had given them the best kind of gift, when really, what we give can only be a pale imitation of their masterpiece. It's strange yet refreshing to see, and I'm glad to be a part of it~
