and Pai breaking down in front of him truly did made him realize how much he put on his shoulders and how little of the love he has from him was he showing I especially like the scene in the office where the grandpa goes on the old railing and then check himself back and ask about the flowers and photos reminding him that they are there for him

his parents being weak and pathetic if foreshadowed a lot and that most of us forget they exist also tell a lot

I don’t think they are back to what was but they are on way to make it work and Pai working back on the old position don’t mean he is back to old ways the whole plan to do into the building project was connected to Tim doing it with him and as we see in the preview there is no trust in Tim back yet

If I looked on the other shows and what they do with the parent/child conflict and how much time can they spend on this in general I think it was made great with Yu mother out of the picture but with open door if she changes and Pai family showing that a lot of what we see is a shell hiding love for the family This show did jump in my all time favorites really fast the two stories about almost the same but so very different I really have nothing just praises for it

also New shows tend to just glaze over the resolving of parents/child conflict make it just go away so they are happy but I think this show is doing so much better in this one as in perfect 10 liners and that make me happy looking forward to his next work

I did read the novel so I know where it is going and they are doing excellent job in resolving conflicts and closing stories lines
