Dearest Lucas,

I’ve done it love, or I guess when you get this letter it will be done, this is my final goodbye to you. I can’t keep letting it go on like this. All this tyranny from Schlatt and his so-called government, it has to end. You always were the light of my life, that one thing that kept me going through this hell. 

My L’Manburg, remember that Lucas? The song I used to sing you to sleep when you would have another restless night? It will always be our L’Manburg, just for us, no one will be able to take it away, it will just be you and me. That’s the thing though Lucas, as much as I may love you, I also know that it will be cruel for me to not write this letter even though I know how much pain it will bring, I may be a man with little morals but that doesn’t mean I’m cold hearted. 

At the festival, L’Manburg will be history, our history. Dream helped me set up the whole thing, while everyone will be distracted by TechnoBlade, I will sneak away. The button will be pressed, the button that will end all this madness, to finally bring me to the peace I’ve always needed. Then I’ll die, my very last life will be gone, and I’ll be dead, taken from this world.

Am I the bad guy Lucas? Truly I’ve always been asking myself that, since the day I stumbled upon that drug van. I’ve brought Tommy into a life of murder, war, and hatred, he’s only a child but has more trauma that a seventy-year old man in the army. I’ve hurt my son in so many ways, not being a great father, trapping his mother away in a chest. And then there’s you, the one person that has loved me despite all I’ve done, despite how many people’s lives I’ve ruined.

I love you Lucas, I always have, but this has to be goodbye. Please take your time, we’ll be together one day, I can’t wait till I’ll get to see you again.
