look we need to celebrate this years US winners by any means on so many levels...for one there are an all black team representing the united states in a game dominated mostly by hispanics and created by whites and respected in asia, now not only are they black but they are from Chicago which is one of the most violent inner cities in the united states, it's a given we may lose some of these kids to the system in the next few years but if we celebrate them, we as americans can give them a change to further pursue baseball as an outlet and not let this be the pinnacle of their sports career, also i really hope that it opens the eyes of other young black youths to see hey it's cheaper than other sports and can start at a younger age rather then most sports and it will get more attention to try to get these kids started, but furthermore like really, have we not seen how high baseball contracts get for doing nothing? come on now baseball players honestly don't do too much when compared at the other 3 top revenue sports in the united states so us as black american why not push our kids into baseball? i hope this is an eye opener for the black community.....
