Number 6 &13 for the three songs ask meme thing?
Number 6: Three songs you wish you could erase from history (because they’re terrible)
FIRST SONG: For The First Time by The Script. I actually had tickets to see them opening for Train and I hate their music so much it’s the only time in my entire life I got to a concert late, and I did it on purpose. (I’m usually at least an hour early.)
SECOND SONG: The entire discography of Nickelback. It all sounds like a single song anyway, therefore it counts.
THIRD SONG: God by John Lennon. I’ve seen the original handwritten lyrics in person and even when I was twelve and worshipped this pasty white boy’s ass I thought it was stupid. Now I think it’s not just stupid but also cliched, lazy, self-indulgent, not cohesive, and pseudointellectual, but it’s touted as some kind of piece of genius when really it’s just [jerkoff gestures go here].Number 13: Three songs I want at my funeral
FIRST SONG: Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. Actually, lest I fill all three slots with Queen (deservedly so, but y’all want to see some diversity, yes?), let’s go ahead and add Who Wants To Live Forever and No-One But You right here.
SECOND SONG: Moonlight Densetsu by DALI. Anybody who knows me well will know exactly why, but for those who don’t, this is the original opening theme to Sailor Moon. If a funeral is a celebration of someone’s life, then this song should definitely play at mine.
THIRD SONG: Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd. If you’re starting to think at least half of these are because I have a sick sense of humor, you’re right.
