❝I’ve always wanted children.❞ There was a thoughtful smile that settled on her features as she allowed for her chin to drop in her hand as she thought some more about the possible aspect of having smaller versions of herself running around the house at one point in her life. Of course, right now she was only nineteen and far from having any thoughts on getting married, let alone bringing another life into this world but she did know for sure that she wanted for this to happen somewhere down the line, when there was someone by her side she trusted and, hopefully, could spend the rest of her life with.❝I’ve grown up with no father but a mother who gave her everything to me. She always did the best she could with what we had, even if it wasn’t much and I think that’s the most important part about being a mother - you’d give your everything to the little bundles of joy you have brought into this world, and I want to be just like that. I want to be like a lioness that will protect her children at all costs, someone who they can come to in times of happiness, sadness, anger, despair. I want to have children, and I want them to trust me enough to come to me should they need my help, no matter at what point in their lives they will be. But I don’t want to do that all by myself.❞ The smile faded somewhat from her features as she tilted her head, long strands of chestnut colored locks falling over her shoulders.
❝I want to get married first. I want my children to be able to have a mother and father they can rely on, to see that they are both happy together. I’ve grown up with no such privilege, and I realize that there are plenty of others who have gone through the same. But if I could choose, if it was up to me then I would make sure to give my children a chance to be with not only their mum, but also with their dad.❞
