ah yes , t’is THAT TIME OF THE HUMAN YEAR once again . the entire month of DECEMBER , nay , the SPAN OF TIME between halloween ( the clearly superior holiday ) & the beginning of the NEXT YEAR —— filled with ramblings about christmas & singing of songs that all sound the same & blinking , sparkling , glittering ornaments as far as the eye can see . how DEPLORABLE & UTTERLY HUMAN // now isn’t that a REDUNDANT STATEMENT … oh , but he does so ENJOY the grand display of THE MARKET & THE POPULATION’S DANCE : unnecessary JUNK being portrayed as NECESSITY with skimmed sales , SHINY BAUBLES made of cheap plastic being sold LEFT & RIGHT to whoever’s eyes they’ve caught , the limited stock causing the masses to quite literally STEP OVER EACH OTHER over something so simple as A FRAGILE PLAYTHING that won’t even last through the holidays , the EXHAUSTED employees being caught in even more exhausting arguments with OVERWORKED customers that result in NEITHER PARTY receiving what they desire . there is A BEAUTY TO THIS MADNESS , a beauty that shines & sounds louder than any of the DREADFUL JOY & JOLLY NATURE that may come at the end of the day , one that makes even a CHEERY GREETING such as demencia’s but a second ago seem much more bearable . DESPICABLE as this time may be , THERE IS CAUSE FOR A GRIN on the eldritch grinch’s face .
❛ i don’t know about “ happy ” , but the chaos certainly is ENTERTAINING . if those can be counted as THE SAME THING , then , yes , “ happy holidays ” indeed . ❜
