Freedom would be considered a WildWing in modern era wouldn't she?
Yknow? I think there’s such a sad element to Freedom seeing that other dragons are full of love.
For her entire afterlife she’s told herself dragons don’t care for their young. They’re reptiles, they leave them behind. For five thousand years she believed her mother burning entire villages wasn’t from love or grief, but just annoyance that she was stolen from.
And then Luna shows her that dragons care for their young, that they love eachother, that they’re kind… and Freedom has to process that her mother loved her. Would have cared for her. Would have given her a name, raised her, taught her lessons, held her when she was scared.
One of Freedoms last sentences before she dies is “I don’t know what my mother would’ve named me.”
Because her mother would have named her… and she never realized that until then.
Erm idk if you've designed her because she's technically an unnamed character but your interpretation of Lizard/Freedom's mother would be cool to see if you're up to it! :D
