National Library week is April 13-19 this year. Never been to your local library? You might be surprised what you find there. Make time to stop in this week. Even if you aren't a book person (which, let's face it, 99% of my tumblr followers are), you'll be surprised what your local library can offer to you. It's not just about books anymore.Â
I'm always surprised by the number of library students who don't visit the libraries in their communities - library students, get out and visit every library within an hour's drive before you graduate. Libraries are varied, and it's important to see how different libraries have different approaches to service.Â
