Happy Birthday to Liveguide! (May 27th, 2015)
This past Saturday (May 23rd) Liveguide turned 1 year old! I know, we can’t believe it either... So much so that we forgot completely to tell you all about it :-) We want to give a huge shout out to everyone who supported, helped, advised and in any way gave us energy to keep doing our thing. LOVE!
During our first year so many things have happened that we’re really proud of. Here are some;
- Our 3 apps (ofcourse) Liveguide, Noclip, and DreamHack TV together with DreamHack.
- Our first partnership with DreamHack, creating the platform DreamHack TV!
- Accepted into STING accelerator FastForward, grabbing one of 8 spots at SUP46 and 250.000 SEK of investment from Propel Capital.
- Over 4,5 million live channels in our catalogue (thanks to Ustream, Bambuser, Hitbox, YouTube, Twitch, Viagame, Azubu, and more).
- Mentions in Swedish newspapers Göteborgs Posten, Svenska Dagbladet, Aftonbladet’s Appguiden and Swedish tech sites Feber and Mobil Business among others. International attention from British and American tech sites Springwise and Yahoo! Small Business among others.
