everyone loves me2′s planet scanning, but it leaves me with so many questions. why are we launching probes on planets where it is most certainly not a good idea to launch probes (corrosive atmosphere, extreme temperatures)? who goes down there and collects these mineral deposits? why is shepard allowed to freely deplete the galaxy’s resources? why launch probes into a gas giant?
