Avatar Live Action Series
So I heard about the live action avatar remake and I got concerned. Extremely concerned. Here are some of my thoughts.
- If a live action didnβt work before what makes them think it is going to work now?
- Sure Avatar The Last Airbender was a big hit and I loved it with all my heart but they need to stop using old series to try and create hits and instead make new series. I mean they already tried to do a spin-off of Avatar with Legend of Korra and that sucked, but Iβm not getting into that.
- Do they not remember the movie?!?! Let me remind you of some of the highlights
- I could write pages and pages about the cast. But itβll just make me so mad. I mean have you ever seen a cast that was so wrong? Or whitewashed? Other that Friends LOL.
- I know a lot of people liked Appa but idk I just thought he was kinda creepy compared to this cutie
Another thing- the bending
I mean wth is that. How many people does it take to move one tiny rock?
And lastly I feel it didnβt do justice to the series. The tv show was so amazingly awesome that to live up to it and put it in a 2 hr movie would have been kinda impossible.

All of this being said, I remember being so excited for the Avatar The Last Airbender Movie, so if they manage to pull this series off then congrats, but theyβll never ruin the original series for me. Ugh this is like the cursed child all over again.
