Can we take a moment to appreciate theatre/live actors?
Every day and night they work, 8 times a week they put on a show. If they mess up, there’s no retakes, no “take five”, they have to be ready to go asap. They can’t forget lines, understudies have to be ready at a moment’s notice. The general public doesn’t give theatre actors enough credit; their job is 100x more challenging than a movie actor and they continue to do it because they love it.
We need more respect for Broadway, off-broadway, and live actors.
