Happy Valentine’s Day! Have some DnD romance~
Tdi’or, the moon elf cleric, is my PC, and Lithos, the retired human/werewolf paladin, is one of my DM’s NPCs.
At the beginning of the campaign we were talking about who our character’s “types” would be...and I jokingly-but-not said paladins, and also sort of jokingly said that I’d love a werewolf romance. And I’m sure my DM made this NPC to target and torture me specifically. :P Anyway, the two became...pretty smitten with each other. Drawn to each others’ auras, each seeing the weight and burden the other carried on their shoulders. Tdi’or saw something so sweet hidden inside Lithos, and Tdi’or reminded him of emotions he’d locked away and kept closed off for so long. The first time the party stayed at the inn, Tdi’or discovered Lithos’s lycanthropic secret in the night, when they went to investigate some lonely howls. After a cautious meeting, Lithos realized Tdi’or wouldn’t hurt him, and the two spent the night in companionable silence under the moon, spurring on Lithos’s draw towards the strange elf.
When the party returned to the inn a couple months later, it was the Winter Solstice, and the holiday spirit definitely spurred their relationship forward, and Tdi’or had a very fun night with Lithos and Braxis, a fellow party member, that wound up being backed by much deeper and growing emotions.
When they are together, Tdi’or clings to their human lover, knowing the difference between elven and human aging combined with the dangers of an adventuring lifestyle means they may not have as much time as they’d like to be with their human lover.
