Banning Books on the African American Experience
Right now these and other books about African American History are being banned across the country. My dad and I spoke about this in the latest episode of Ellis Conversations. Looking at the other books in the picture, I can’t help but think of what else state governments are considering banning. Not only will little black girls be robbed, of drawing from the strength of Ruby’s stories, but children of all colors won’t learn of this recent stain on American History and make sure it never happens again. Â
